Join the show's Assistant Director, Talitha Morena Moniz McMillion, after this Saturday's (4/18) matinee and before the evening performance to explore and interact with themes of STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Robert Harling's 1971 play constructs a sacred space, a haven for women of a community, where they can be themselves and more. Explore three activity-based stations to reflect on or anticipate your experience with the show, including: a grief station where you can choose to write or talk about your experiences with grief, a rage station with a punching bag for you to "hit something and hit it hard!," and a reflection station featuring a therapeutic sand tray table to help us ground ourselves again.
We anticipate that this will be an informal workshop with participants moving through stations at their own pace, reflecting and/or interacting with others. While space is not limited, we do ask for RSVPs so we can keep an eye out for you and be mindful of our occupancy numbers!
So excited you'll be joining us!
